The new LAV-SHIELDTM lavatory enclosure represents the "Next Generation" of ADA piping protection systems. An alternative to insulation covers around each pipe and component, the designer-style, single-piece LAV-SHIELDTM conceals all lavatory piping, electronic faucet connections, mixing valves, trap primers, and instantaneous hot water heaters* at once. The LAV-SHIELDTM provides the proper knee and toe clearances mandated by the ADA for wheelchair users, prevents pipe component tampering, and offers the aesthetics demanded by the most discriminating of designers.
ADA-conforming design protects wheelchair users from scalding and sharp surfaces.
